We experience love in countless ways—romantic, platonic, familial, the love we share with pets, self-love, and our passion for art, hobbies, and life itself. In every form, love is a choice—one we make daily through the actions that nourish it rather than diminish it. We can choose to pursue love or turn away from it.
I see love not as a fleeting feeling that stands alone, but as a vessel, a container built from many emotions—forgiveness, compassion, kindness, understanding, passion, devotion, appreciation—and all the other qualities of the heart that hold love together.
One of the most rewarding spiritual practices is learning to bring love into every aspect of life and to every person we meet—to stay in a vibration of love in our relationships, in our interactions, and even in moments of conflict. This is not always easy. In fact, we will fail—perhaps often. But what matters most is the intention to keep choosing love, to live in love, to recognize and appreciate its many manifestations along our journey, and to be grateful for the simple yet profound gift of giving and receiving love.
When we allow love to enter our lives, there are no guarantees. Love does not need to be perfect or permanent to be meaningful. Let go of attachment to outcomes, release expectations, and step forward with an open, adventurous, and courageous heart into the extraordinary possibilities ahead.
With love,
Julia
